Sequence
The hourly countdown sequence remains. It's still 90 seconds in full and
there are four versions featuring clips from the previous countdowns and
BBC English regional news title sequences. The countdown is now on the
left, non-italicised with the menu to the right. At ten seconds the black
strap moves across and the menu fades out.

Instead, a white-on-blue strap appears giving details of headlines and
updates as and when it is appropriate.
During specific programmes, a headline ticker
is used for the latest information

their slot
