  Title Sequence
The headline text is generated automatically each hour. There is a backup version which has been seen a couple of times for when this system fails. The generic version is shown at the top of the hour between 0100-0500 UK time when there is a joint service with BBC World. A unique sting is also shown when BBC ONE joins the channel in the early hours.

  Countdown Sequence
The hourly countdown sequence remains with four separate versions. It's still 90 seconds in full and there are four versions featuring clips from the previous countdowns and BBC English regional news title sequences. The countdown is now on the left, non-italicised with the menu to the right. At ten seconds the black strap moves across and the menu fades out.
