Outtakes

As a rolling, 24-hour news service, not everything can be expected to run smoothly all the time. Apart from the technical breakdowns, noticeably the BBC Power Failure at Television Centre in June 2000, presenters are also prone to making the odd mistake. Here's a few examples from the BBC One programmes Aunties Bloomers and Outtake TV.

 Mistake 1
232kb - The presenter on the left was far too engrossed in a newspaper article to realise he was meant to be on air!

 Mistake 2
318kb - The presenter decides to throw a pen across the studio and then try to retrieve it!

 Mistake 3
144kb - In a link to the latest Sports news, the presenter has a little trouble distinguishing between sport and business!

 Mistake 4
181kb - It appears the presenter wants another hour on air, by the hastily re-titled channel name!

 Mistake 5
186kb - The studio in need of a spot of spring cleaning?

 Mistake 6
202kb - So many presenters...so many names!

 Mistake 7
472b - "A bird in the Bush!"

 Mistake 8
318b - Am I interviewing Johnny Diamond or Phillipa Thomas?!

 Mistake 9
222b - Two things to remember a) when the report finishes and b) your colleagues names!

 Mistake 10
159kb - Can you spot the Queen Mum?!
